  • Please take pictures of the bills received from your local water supplier and send them to us via email at hello@urbanbilling.co.uk. We will then contact the supplier to make sure all future correspondence is sent to our HQ.

  • When you sign up for our services we take the necessary steps to open the account for your property in the name of our business. However, there are cases when the landlord or your letting agents contact your supplier to inform them of the new tenants living at the property. When this happens, it will trigger any active account with the supplier to be closed immediately, and a new account will be set up using the names provided to them. If you are experiencing this, please let us know as soon as possible and contact the supplier to inform them that Urban Billing is taking liability for the water charges. Once you have done so, please let us know so we can contact the supplier and make sure your account has been closed and a new account has been set up in Urban Billing’s name.

  • You will receive an email from us informing you that you are using more water than we have predicted for a house of your size. We will also provide you with some tips on how to reduce your consumption. Alternatively, you can increase your payment plan to avoid additional charges at the end of your contract.

  • Tenants sharing a property do not always agree on the services they want to add to their Urban Billing package or perhaps you are already paying the service directly to your local authority. If you wish to cancel you can simply request the cancellation of the service on your portal, via email or a telephone call. If you are within the 14-day cool-off period, we will cancel the service at a £0 cost. However, if this period has lapsed a £30 cancellation fee will be applied. You will also need to contact your local water supplier to set up an account in your name.
